So far . . . so good
This 58 inch screen is my first foray into the world of HD and big screen, and so far I'm happy with the set. I have a Dish HD sat system and the image is pretty great. I worry about the heat and what the screen must be doing to my electric bill. When i just walk by it there is an aura of heat coming from the screen - (which might be desirable in winter lol), but it is worrisome. I found it easy to set up and calibrate and appreciate the variety of inputs. I cannot comment on the audio as I am using a Bose system for sound.
I do recommend it. The price is very competitive for a 1080 screen at this size.
Good luck to all that try it out!

We are happy with this purchase.
I found the reviews for the product very helpful because when I first received the tv the color was off and I remembered a reviewer talking about the correct cables that were necessary. With the new cables the color is fabulous and we are very pleased.
Had for over a year and still love the TV
What can I say I have had this TV over a year and never had a issue with it. Great TV
My friends are all jealous
I bought this TV one year ago, and at the same time my dad bought a Sony XBR-4 52" 1080p LCD. He was obsessed with that TV before he bought it, because of a demo in the Sony store. I did more research, and looked at flat panels for months in several stores. Side-by-side comparisons are the best way to see which TV has the best picture quality. This has by far a much smoother and sharper image than my dad's TV, and after one year, he finally admits he should have bought the Samsung Plasma. There is one other review here that claims the TV puts out a lot of heat. It's true, the screen eminates heat, but so does my 46" 1080p Sharp Aquos LCD. I don't think this is a problem with screen life, because after 1 year, I have no burn-in (which is crazy because of how many video games I play, and how much of the day I keep the TV on.). The picture still looks flawless, and all of my friends who bought rear projection and LCD's are jealous of the sharpness and smooth motion the plasma screen has. It's worth it. If you are still reading this, then you haven't bought the TV yet. Don't disappoint yourself, this baby is sweet.
It's Grrrreeeaaat
This is the first time I have purchased a big ticket item on the internet. I was a little nervous about it at first, but had to try. I found the tv I wanted on Amazon and went to my local Circuit City to check out the tv in person. The price on Amazon was $1500 cheaper than in the store and on Amazon I also saved on sales tax and had free delivery, so that is another couple hundred easy. 6ave did everything as promised and the delivery was within a 4 days.
The tv has an awesome picture. We are huge sports fans and this is the ultimate for sports watching and gaming. I was a little concerned about glare and almost went LCD because the opposite wall from my tv is all windows. No glare at all, the anti glare screen works great. I would and will recommend this tv, amazon and 6ave to everyone, I actually have a neighbor that has purchased the same setup.
