My star rating may not be entirely fair, but I have to say that I find the compatibility issues with the various versions of the iPod mind boggling. For some reason after reading the product description I concluded that this would fully compatible with the Nano 4G, not so. I should have looked at the Belkin site first. Audio-wise it works great, but no video. I didn't really need it for video, but, hey, I didn't get all I paid for! I would like to see Amazon do a better job with all these iPod accessories of making clear what versions of the iPod they are fully compatible with.

I wanted to charge my Ipod Touch next to the bed at night. I also wanted it upright for when I use the alarm, or want to check the time at night. It is a little awkward getting it in the dock because it doesn't have a Touch adapter, but other than that, it works perfectly. The small footprint is terrific. (I don't use the a/v cables).

I bought this for my husband, not sure if will work for his Ipod 6th generation. He uses it for work and he said it works great, exactly what he was looking for. Amazon shipped the product quickly too... thanks. So far with all my purchases, Amazon have not failed my expectation. Keep up the good work, Amazon!

I bought an ipod classic and this dock (based on reviews here) to replace my 15 year old JVC 200 CD Changer. I have 2 Onkyo receivers connected together - one for indoors, one for outdoors. I am going to have some hopping music here this summer! The huge gap where the CD changer used to be will now allow me to fit a wider LCD screen TV. Music quality is great. I am not a dinosaur anymore!
