It does 50% of what is supposed. Apparently no one cares about the video functionality as it is rarely mentioned on the reviews. In Summary, The charging and adio capabilities are great but there's no video coming out for at least the touch models. Hence 3 stars... next time advertise better Belkin

Nice little cheap dock for iPhone. I don't have a case on mine, but it fits nicely into the 2nd largest docking adapter (the adapters come with the dock). When you plug in the iPhone, a message saying "not compatible" shows up, but if you press "No", the phone will charge just fine.

One downside is that the USB->AC adapter that's included has this horribly bright blue LED. I just used the Apple USB->AC adapter that came with the phone.

I would rate it a star higher except I do not know how well the video works. We own an IPOD Classic and plugged the Belkin Dock into a shelf micro stereo we own. The Belkin Dock works flawlessly.

Hooking the system up took all of a couple of minutes and the charging function has worked flawlessly. This is a very handy little gadget to enhance our IPOD experience with.

I wanted a docking station which would keep my older IPOD charged while also providing line level, as opposed to headphone jack, output to my home stereo. It was easy to set up and the IPOD sounds great. I run the IPOD mainly on "shuffle songs" so I didn't need the extra expense and complexity of a dock with a remote control. The IPOD stays charged all the time and I start it up by using the IPOD control pannel. This device works like a charm.

This device took my old stereo receiver and brought it into the 21st century. I can now play my iPod through the receiver. Even better, the dock charges my iPod!
