Line out to stereo works great

Having the line out on the Belkin made all the difference (sounds great now). It's the new home on top of my entertainment center for my ipod. My ipod is now always charged, always hooked to my stereo when it's at home, so really it's the ideal charger for me. This comes with the power adapter and cable so nothing else needed. All this and cheaper than most simple wall chargers that have no line out.

Belkin USB Charger Dock - Does what it needs to do
(4 out of 5) by D. Bass on Jan 12, 2009 (San Francisco, CA USA)This is a well made product that is very easy to set up and use. One minor feature that I like a lot is that they put a non-slip surface/coating on the bottom of the dock so that it is harder for the iPod to get knocked about.
One minor complaint is that the charging block at the wall doesn't have an automatic shut off when the iPod is charged but not in use. I don't know if other products have this, but in todays world, auto-shut off should be a part of any product like this.

Best buy Belkin

Pagel on Sep 30, 2008 (Milwaukee, WI)I was doing some research on the available docks and looked at all avenues, after realizing that the Apple dock was not inclusive of the proper cables and also they did not include the proper adapters(unless you bought either of them) I found this dock. Belkin has certinally met it's normal high standard. Great weight to hold my Nano in place, the cables are long enought to place anywhere on my desk ( I play it through my Wave CD radio) and the availability to play the video is also a plus, though I am currently not using it.
I would by another and yet another if there were a need, actually there is so I just may have to do that!

If you have an older iPod be aware that you'll need a dock adapter.
(3 out of 5) by J. Daines on Mar 4, 2008 (Calgary, Canada)It may work with any iPod with the connector, but you'll have to pay Apple for the insert for the dock ($11 plus $6 shipping here in Canada!). This is not very clear from the packaging. The manual is also pretty minimal.

Does what it is designed to do quite well.

My home system is decent and the quality of the sound using the dock is noticeably better than simply taking the output from the headphone jack. It was a good buy.
