But when she tried to use it , it won't charge any battery at all. What a waste of money.This charger is useless. It cause me embarrassment to give her a broken charger. NOT recommended.

Ever the thrifty shopper, I checked out cheaper sites (through Amazon). I paid $2.59 (& $2.98 s&h) and felt I got a GREAT BARGAIN. When I received the order, I plugged it in right away and the red LED came to life. Ten seconds later, a 'zapping' noise was heard and the unit smoked. I removed it from the wall and, quite expectedly, it no longer worked. I am in the process of returning this charger to "bargaincel" for a replacement. Seems ridiculous to pay the S&H that's more expensive than the product itself.
If I receive a new, working model, I will re-review it in a more positive light (hopefully). I WOULD DEARLY LIKE TO CONTINUE TO PRAISE AMAZON (AND "BARGAINCEL") AND TO TRUST THAT JUST BECAUSE A PRODUCT IS PRICED INCREDIBLY LOW DOES NOT INFER INFERIOR QUALITY.

It does do the work and I only use it for charging my generic/oem battery, not my original sony battery.
Beware that you get what you pay for, it's hit or miss!!!, in my case somehow this charger hates my original sony battery
(either the H or P series, the light blinking), but its works fine with my generic/oem battery.
