Best router I've ever had
I love this router even though the buttons are a little hard to push. I'll put up with that for the speed and reliability that I've gotten so far. Been going strong for 8 months now.

Flawless design and execution
Amazing router that makes setting up home networking fast and painless. Within a few (10-15) minutes all my wireless devices were up and running. Not to mention this router's design makes it something you're proud to have sitting on your desk.
The display pans through different helpful and informative screens that give you information you actually want to know like which devices are connected, how much bandwidth you're consuming, and whether the connection is secure, all without having to enter into the administrative functions menu on the desktop. Even getting to these menus is a snap. Simply type "routersetup" into the address bar of your browser and you're there. No more typing IP addresses for me! Great product, and as usual an excellent experience with Amazon.com!

so far so good.
Well, my WRT54G finally lost the ability to connect to the internet. I dunno what happened, since local network traffic is still fine. Anyway, I decided to make sure it was the router by purchasing a new one. I chose the N vision , mostly because of the status screen, despite the sad, sad throughput ratings. I thought the throughput meters were a cool idea, but I wish they were a little more interesting to watch than they turn out to be, since the graphical portion of the meter does not seem to represent an actual percentage of the total broadband or network capacity, which would have been nice. I've already planned to return it to CC and buy a D-Link 4500 Xtreme as soon as I finish writing this review. I think the 4500 looks cooler and sleeker anyway.
Ciao!

All Looks, No Substance
Possibly the best looking router I've ever owned, yet the poorest performing one by far. Extremely unreliable, dropping my wireless connection every 45 seconds.
Not only is online gaming not possible, Belkin's support on this issue is actually worse than unhelpful. I would stay away from this one, at least until Belkin decides that looks alone won't sell a product.

Energy Hog
Great looking design but a huge energy hog. Ran it w/ a meter consumed almost as much power as my old dell desktop. Plus the issue of losing connection...went back to linksys and problem solved. Belkin just doesn't seem to care not releasing firmwares or updates and not acknowledging to issue. Highly highly recommend buying elsewhere. Watch out for the 5 star ratings...belkin has been paying customers to give them positive reviews on amazon. Just google it or digg the articles.
