Slick little stick!

(5 out of 5) by Stephen Perry on Jun 8, 2009 (Atlanta, GA)
I've owned this drive for about a year, and loved it - until losing it recently on a trip. It works in older USB (1.1) slots, which is handy for transferring data from older machines. Performance is great. And it really is more durable than one would expect, having washed and dried it in the pocket of my jeans without harm or data loss. Best of all is the super-tiny size! If you want a slick little drive, this is the one. I'm getting an 8G i810 as a replacement.

cute but not durable

This drive, while it works well and is reliable functionally, is cheaply made and does not hold up on daily use. Perhaps its virtue is its main drawback: to make it so small, it has to be made of not-so-durable materials.

To me, its small size isn't worth the significant problem it has.

great product

I bought one of these over two years ago now. It was worth every penny. Transfers aren't the fastest, but adequate. Its been mentioned that the drive slides back in when inserting, but if you hold it on the sides while inserting it never retracts (at least mine doesn't). Its a great value for a great little drive.

Efficient and small - fits in my purse

I have had this USB stick for over a year now - in gray. It still works very well. My co-workers/friends were very impressed with the look, size and capacity and often borrow it.
You have to slide the card out of the case to put it in the usb slot in the computer. After about 10 months or so, it has got stuck in the open position only once for about 30secs (this is why I took away 1 star in the review). I applied some pressure on it to close it - and it obeyed. It's still quite durable and still works perfectly - not getting stuck anymore.
My boyfriend has "borrowed" it from me to use it, but i don't think I'm going to get it back, so i'm going to buy another one for myself :) Perhaps white/silver and 4GB+ this time.

VERY tiny

(4 out of 5) by Gadget Lover on Aug 4, 2008 (Texas)
Pros
- Very Small
- Good storage for the price
- Looks cool
- Works without extra software some other companies tack on their drives

Cons
- Maybe too small (to the point of feeling flimsy)
- A bit slow

This drive is very tiny and will definitely provoke inquiries from anyone who happens to see you plug it in -- it is actually too small to fit a full size USB connection so it uses this odd looking gold plate that plugs into the bottom 1/2 of the USB port (it still works in all USB slots so don't be confused when you first see it). It slides in and out of a very light plastic shell and given its small size I am somewhat worried I will snap it in half when taking it out of the computer though this has not yet happened. The other downside of this drive is it runs a bit slower than my previous flash drives (my guess is because of it's altered USB connection). This isn't an issue for opening files off of it but if you transfer a large volume of files or large video files to it expect to wait a while. Once the stuff is on the drive it is great and so tiny you can attach it to practically anything you want -- it comes with a chain and a nylon cord like the one on the straps for wii remotes (I am guessing they expect you to only use 1 of them). Bottom line it makes a handy drive if you only plan on adding a couple megs at a time but I wouldn't recommend it for important data as it feels a bit flimsy and might break.
