Shopped around and compared this unit with Clarion units. My installer mentioned that the picture quality and rubber type covering are just like the Clarion models. Unit was installed in a 2004 Toyota Sienna. Overall my kids loved the unit and most importantly it gave my wife and I peace of mind. (priceless). Keep in mind that if you want to listen to your radio station while passengers are viewing a dvd they must use the infrared headphones which you can purchase seperately or bundled with the unit unless you don't mind listening to the movie soundtrack on your radio. I bought after market headphones which worked great. The headphones seperate the sound via Infrared which then allows you to listen to your radio/cd using your van/car speakers.

At this price I expected cheap plastic, but it even feels well made. The screen is crisp and bright even in daylight. The kids love it. The dealer who installed it couldn't believe how little I paid for this!

This dvd player has options that alot of more expensive units have, and the quality is very nice too. Wireless headphones are a great option that the kids love, resume play is great so Mom and Dad do not have to keep restarting the movie on long trips. So, this is a very nice unit, well worth the money!!!!!

Does the job. Installed myself in 2004 Sienna. DVD tray is not in the best location and close to roof panel. Very bright and clear image at wide viewing angle. Kids love it. Sound over car stereo via built in transmitter is also quite decent, but recommend the wireless headphones.

After extensive searching for the best possible affordable DVD player we decided to purchase this one. We had it professionally installed and we couldn't be happier with this. My son is NOT a car baby but we have no problems now, this DVD player is very well put together and haven't had any problems so far. Have had it installed for about 4 months now and we use it almost everyday! I would recommend this product, a little pricy but well worth every penny.
