Mini System
The system fits the space for which I bought it, which is good, but the sound quality is only fair.

Great bargain, sleek design!
I was shocked by how easy this was to set up and how quickly I was listening to music! The sound is amazing, not "tingy" like you get on some smaller systems. I have it set up in my office, and I have received numerous complements in just the few short days I have had it, several coworkers want to know where I got it from, and I referred them directly to Amazon.com! You should definitely consider this system! And the remote is a definite added bonus!

what a piece of ....
This cd player/radio could not be a bigger waste of money. I think Macgyver could build a better cd player out of a potato, rubber band, and a safety pin. initially had to power off and then back on to play a cd, now that does not even work. only bought it 40 days ago, and you got it, broken!!!
Perfect audio system
A local home improvement store had this jWIN CD Shelf System on sale for the Black Friday weekend. I picked my system up for under $25 on sale.
So far, the jWIN JX-CD7160 Micro Shelf System works really well. The sound quality is pretty good for a $25 system with decent bass response with Bass Boost turned on. Radio reception is pretty good with FM radio, but I can't test AM radio as I'm in a college dorm and AM reception is very iffy. The system has a standard analog radio tuner but the frequency is displayed on the backlit LCD display. While it's not a true digital tuner, having the radio frequency digitally displayed is a really good feature to have on a lower end system.
CD playback is very good, and the system has played all my CD-R discs without issues.
The remote control is also a nice addition, but the remote only controls CD functions, volume, and power. Despite this, the remote has an excellent range, and can be pointed at the unit at a rather good angle, and you don't have to point the remote directly at the sensor.
If you are looking for a discount audio system that has good sound quality, go for the jWIN JX-CD7160. I recommend it.
