If your getting a MacBook Pro, Get one of these.

Dedicated pockets for your charger as well as one that a 2.5" HDD fits into for a Time Machine backup drive. :) The place where the laptop goes has extra padding just for the computer. Keeps it nice and safe. If you are willing to spend 3 grand on a notebook, don't be cheep and buy a good case for it.

Lots of storage in a compact size!

Very Nice Bag, but not perfect

There are plenty of pockets and places to put things like travel mouse, cables and the nice pocket at the bottom for the power adapter. The materials are top quality and I have no fear of damaging my Mac will inside this bag.
I do however wish the file folder area was a little more receptive for my Franklin Covey Day planner. and also wish the there was a more receptive place for my sun glass case. I also wish their was two zippers for the laptop opening instead of one. I either have to open it all the way or close it all the way and wish their was two zippers closing at the top.
The shoulder strap is great, though I miss the way my messenger bag fits on my hip compared to this bag. I understand this is not a messenger bag and bought it so I could remove my laptop easier at the airport security. This still is a very comfortable bag to carry on the shoulder, just not perfect for me.

I realized I needed a case for the trip. I made a quick decision to buy based on the reviews and the apparent quality. The Brenthaven 15.4 Pro Lite II Shoulder Case for Notebooks arrived the day before my flight and I was delighted.
I packed the notebook and all the peripherals I needed to compute in Italy and included my camera and two noise canceling headphones. It was carried onto the flight: fit nicely into the overhead on the plane. I made my presentation and returned to Los Angeles. I found the case very well organized and now I use it everyday to transport my computer. I am glad I bought the case. It is well made, looks nice and travels well.
