really good for a large monitor or the mac mighty mouse

I recently purchased an iMac, which came with the standard Mac mighty mouse and a thin, tiny Apple mousepad. It was impossible for me to glide across the 20" screen with my tiny mousepad. So I purchased a regular-sized mousepad, which only allowed me to move about 6 inches across my screen at a time. Then I purchased this 18" black mousing surface and it was PERFECT. I can now glide easily all around my screen without having to move my mouse 3 inches at a time. It's a perfect product, in my opinion.

Note: you have to air out the mousing surface for a couple days before you use it. It smelled pretty toxic when I first unwrapped it.

HUGE pad

I was very surprised on how big this mousepad actually was when I got it. It comes in a very nice metal canister, that I use to put candy in now. The mousepad works great, but it is quite huge. Make sure you have sufficient space for it. There have been no problems with my Logitech G5.

Not quite as big as a bathmat...

but close. I cut it in half (to a pair of 14 x 8-1/2 sections) for gaming. I no longer run off the edge while running away from enemies and still have a backup when this one wears out. The surface is very smooth, flexible, and textured just right for my Micro$oft laser mouse. This is the best mousepad I've ever used. Highly recommended!

If you need a BIG mouse-pad, this is it!

I was shocked at the sheer size of this mouse-pad. Its huge! I have a 15.4" laptop and this mouse-pad is about double the size of the laptop.

Other mouse-pads require you to sometimes pick up your mouse, move it, then place it down on the pad again to keep scrolling across a large screen. I use my docking station and output video from my laptop via the VGA port onto a 42" 1080p TV. This large screen with a high resolution (which matters much more than the actual screen size) is what requires this pick up and move the mouse procedure with typical mouse-pads. I NEVER have to do that anymore.

I use a Logitech G3 mouse and have nothing but compliments for its performance.

I also purchased the little brother of this product to receive free shipping. I keep it as my "traveling" mouse pad. Its about as wide, but only half as tall. The width is what REALLY matters, since we care about horizontal screen real estate much more than vertical...imo.

You wont regret this purchase!

It's HUUUUGEE!!!

Which I love it since I use it for gaming, comfortable easy to move around and it came in a handsome tin. Great for the price!
