Best deal i could find!

Initially i had bought a pack of 3 from a local Target store for more than the price for this set of 50 - so, price-wise its a steal ... or as i would consider, this is really what the fair price is (vs. the obscenely high priced 2-3 cell packages you get at the retail stores).
I think they are able to sell this cheap by getting the battery directly from one of the actual manufacturers out in china (this product has a brand name that most of us have probably never heard of) - but the most important thing with a battery is that it should fit and work on any product that needs that style of battery, and this product does just fine in both those aspects.
I do not know what the life-span of this cell will turn out to be compared to the ones in retail stores, but i have not had to change any battery after a month or so of use now and to me, that itself more that covers for the comparative price i paid - the longer it lasts is just free bonus.
Bottom line - for all the little kids stuff where i need to use this battery in, this is the perfect thing at the right price. btw, there is a set of 100 that you can buy for even cheaper per-unit pricing - i just did not need that many batteries - what i got will probably last me 3-5 years.

LR 44 battery review
