Very convenient cable adapter

I use it to connect my laptop to my HDTV to watch movies and it works great (all I do is then connect my speakers via the headphone jack). Video quality on the big screen is great and the gold connectors do a fine job. I've yet to use it to connect my DVD player to the DVD but I do not anticipate any problems.

Outstanding

This was for an older Sony rear projection screen and sometimes the HDCP "handshakes" don't always coordinate well. Overall, does the job, good quality cable, please don't be fooled by Monster or anything ridiculously expensive.
