This case is the reason why you will gladly pay more for quality, and why I will never regret this purchase. I've used bargain priced, hand-me-down cases and shoulder bags in the past and have never been happy with the results. If you want a quality bag that will withstand the bumps and scrapes throughout the years, a bag with more pockets and common-sense features than you can imagine, and a bag that says I am "100% business" and not another "West coast fly-by-night dotcom wannabe" this is the one for you.

If you are not accustomed to lugging around a big bag (I am 6'4" and this bag fits my stature) this may not work for you. I won't lie to you - If you are not strong enough to carry a 17" Apple laptop around, then this bag won't make it any easier. If you fly, or if you are serious about protecting your assets, buy this bag. It's tough, and it's worth it.

Very good bag. Only downside is that it isn't water proof. The bottom of the bag got wet and my contents in the front pocket got wet. Computer was fine but not certain that will always be the case.

I absolutely love this notebook bag!!! I got it right before my last 2 week business trip, and I had to take lots of accessories for my laptop, plus some software CD's, the normal paperwork, and a book for the plane. It swallowed it all up with no problem. I have a 15.4 inch Dell Vostro, which is not the slimmest laptop around, and it also has the extended battery, so it is a little deeper than most as well, and that's why I got the bag designed for 17 inch laptops... My notebook fit like a glove. The solid, durable construction of this bag is very impressive, and the number of pockets, compartments, holders, etc. is astounding. The two handles are very comfortable, and so is the shoulder strap, which can be removed if you want.

Excellent product, even better than I expected. Every detail, from stitching to reinforced and cushioned handles is well thought out and executed. Plenty of room to take all of my working files, mouse, power adapter with my Mac BookPro....and so securely protected in the no nonesense ballistic material. In fact, I like this unit so much that after receiving it I also purchased it's skinny lower profile brother, the Brenthaven Eclipse', for those occasions when I don't need to carry anything except the laptop!

If you have a 17-inch MacBook Pro this is the case you want! I absolutely love it. It fits everything I have and has room for more. It has a perfect place for everything. I also carry 2 LaCie 500GB drives in Caselogis cases and this bag has a spot that seems like it was made for this purpose. Get this bag. You will not be disappointed!
