I travel quite a bit, and often rely on open wifi networks for Internet connectivity. Even at home, I rely on it. Anyways, I just moved to a new area, and there are barely any wifi signals. I bought the 1000mW version of this adapter, and let me tell you, wow, it picks up so much new signals, and boosted the only open AP that I could connect to from 1 bar to full 4 bars. It also tells you how good the link quality is in real time, so you can move the adapter around until the link quality becomes better. This helps me alot since often times, I can get strong signal strength, but poor link quality which equates to slow speeds.

Best $40 I've ever spent!

It picks up o router from about 300 yards away in another building. Takes some configuring to work on my Mac. It shut me down once, bu it ended up being a software issue. I just had to uninstall and reinstall the software. Does what it says it does.

This is a great gadget for boosting internet signal reception. It is light and unlike those "pringle cans", you can pack it with your laptop case so it is easy to travel with.

I must say that I was a little skeptical of the "strongest on the market" description. But at under $40, I decided to give it a try. This product does exactly what it says it does. Installation went without a hitch in less than 10 minutes. And I usually get 1 bar in my office, I now have 5 bars. I'm so thrilled that I just ordered three more.

This is the best wireless adpter I have ever used! I owned the highest priced one Belkin had, the 70 dollar one, and it would literally disconnect from the Internet every 10 minutes. I only paid 35 for this one, have owned it for over a month, and it has only disconnected once! I also pick up about four more choices of Internet connections, ones I didn't know were there before! It also arrived earlier than expected. I got it one the third business day!
