DO NOT BUY THIS!

(1 out of 5) by Stephen W. Haigh on Jan 9, 2010 (California, USA)
Piece of junk. There are MUCH better units on the market. Stay away from this unit and 47th St. Camera. I wish I had. Have to load each photo individually, then it will not display all that have been loaded. I used all .jpg images, resized them to 800x600. Will not display more than about 125 images. TERRIBLE software and freezes up my computers, both XP and Vista, plus photo frame itself freezes. Wasted over 20 hours trying to get this junk to work correctly and I have been working with computers for 15 years. I can usually find a work around, but not with this product. Gave up on the internal memory (1 gig)and went to a memory card. Card worked fine in other devices. I reformatted it, still same poor results. Bought for an elderly relative. Buttons on remote too stiff for her to push and same with buttons on upper rear of unit. Poor menu system, when on the rare occasion it worked properly. Owners manual almost non existent. Do not bother trying to put photos in as a file. Will not work at all. Total pain. Unit is heavy, all glass front, shows finger prints easily. Bought from 47th Street Photo, big mistake. To return for refund have to pay 15% restocking, unspecified "handling", and shipping, plus you have to ship it back on your dime. Still waiting, 3 days and counting, on a return authorization number from 47th St. They have not responded. Not surprising considering their reputation which I found out after I ordered from them. Amazon should drop them.

Do not buy this product

(1 out of 5) by Anthony Mittas on Jan 3, 2010 (Tijeras, NM)
I tried to get this picture frame to work on two PCs running XP. On one machine it would freeze up the mouse requiring a reboot. On the second it took multiple times connecting to a USB port until the drive was recognized. Once I finally loaded picture the frame worked as expected but forget about trying to load other pictures. Frustrating and a waste of time. Don't buy this product.

Good Digital Picture Frame

(4 out of 5) by K. Miller on Dec 20, 2008 (Arlington, VA USA)
It's a good basic digital picture frame. It's well packed in the box and looks to be well build. Preforms as described with two caveats.

First they don't include the USB cable. This isn't a big deal for me as I have several laying around from other items but it is a big deal for my grandmother who isn't known for having extra USB cords at her house...

Second you only get once picture source at a time. If you are using the internal memory you can only use internal memory, if you are using a SD card you can only use the SD card slot.

Neither are a huge deal, just something to know going in.

Disappointment

(1 out of 5) by Edward W. Hill Jr. on Jan 11, 2009 (Wilmington, NC)
I purchased this product for my wife for Christmas. The 128MB internal drive turned out to be a 15MB flash drive, so I was unable to load but a few pics on it. There was also 2 red pixels on the screen. This product was defective out of the box and had the wrong drive in it. I have yet to hear back from 47th Street Photo on this and it's been a week. Needless to say, I'm not happy.
