This is a Full Multimedia notebook, excellent display, good for gaming, up to date technology, excellent size HD, 2Gig memory (almost need for Vista), full keyboard is nice, 2 year warranty, but a bit heavy if you travel much by air.
The A7S is quick and the display is very sharp and clear. Have not had any problems with Vista. HD is only 4800RPM, and is set up with two partitions. Have used all the Multimedia features and all worked perfectly. WiFi seems to have excellent sensitivity and BlueTooth works just fine. Connected an external 500GB HD (7200RPM) to the eSATA connection (which dubs as a USB port also) and it is very quick with file transfers. Like the layout of all the ports, as I did not want any ports on the right side (the only one is the power connection and the DVD/CD is also on the right side) or the fan exhaust there. Fan exhaust is on the back as well as four USB (one is eSATA), TV-Out Port, monitor port and the HDMI port. All others are located on the left side. TV tuner works nice with the MultiMeda Mode of Vista. Battery life is a little less that two hours in full High Performance Mode and a little more that two and a half hours in Battery Saver Mode.
