It works
(5 out of 5) by Mitchell on Jul 3, 2008This cable does exactly as promised. HDMI on one side and DVI-D on the other side. The ten feet is good if you have some space between your setups.
Some notes for buyers:
1. To get HDMI video on your monitor through DVI-D, your monitor must be HDCP compliant.
2. This connection only gives you digital video. You need to output sound through another means.

Great Product as Expected

I use it for connection between my projector and my laptop and PS3. Both provide accurate reporduction. I recommend this cable if you are looking for a cable at the right price. IT WORKS!
Covers the distance

It works just as well as the hdmi cable that came with my Samsung monitor. It is on the thin side, which is an advantage as long as it works--but will it hold up over the long run? For anyone having trouble with this cable--do you have another cable to compare it with? Hard to blame the cable if there is no way of testing it against another setup.
