The idea is great but within a month of folding it up and taking it to the gym, the folding part broke. The hinges are cheap, cheap, cheap. The shuffle attachment is great and the fit is comfortable but the folding up part of the contraption is poorly made despite the obvious desire for owners of this headset to use it in active situations. Am going to try the flexible wired design by other vendors.

I had finally had it with my earbud headphones getting caught on weight machines and falling out at the gym so I headed to the Apple store to buy a new, smaller shuffle versus my nano in the hopes I could clip it higher and not get so tangled. I found these headphones while I was there and I LOVE them! Yes, they are not all that fashionable but I hate getting hit on at the gym anyway so who cares. I am not a sound "oficionado" but to me the sound in great. My only complain is that they are a little big, they stay put if you loop them over the ear as they are made to do but they still feel loose, granted I have a small head even for a woman. Worth every penny though!

Great product to get the best out of your shuffle....if you dont mind looking a bit strange....the advanatage of no wires overcomes the looks part....great when you jog and .....BUT you need to be ever so GENTLE..... lot and lots of tender loving care in handling it. needed as it is somewhat fragile...but that care will give you dividends......great sound.

I've always struggled at the gym with wires getting in my way, Ipods falling on the floor, earbuds popping out, headphones moving around when I did. But, having just purchased the 2nd generation Ipod Shuffle, these headphones seem to have taken care of all of those issues. I use an elliptical trainer, do floor exercises, use weight machines, do stretches that involve hanging upside-down, etc. and the Monster neither moves nor gets in the way. Once you've figured out how to fasten it securely around your ears, this little baby stays put. The controls are easy to use and very accessible and the unit is really lightweight. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase.
One minor complaint that's just a vanity issue - it doesn't get high points for fashion. However, if you go to the gym to get a good workout and don't mind looking like Lt. Uhuru while doing so, this is the product for you. Just pray the What Not To Wear crew isn't lurking in the locker room...
AWESOME!

I have a shuffle simply to use when I do yard work of any kind. Since it take 3hrs to mow our property ipods help pass the time. This headset is great! No more getting cables caught, pullout out an earbud, ipod hanging on something, just simple and neat headset. I love these, I've had mine for about 2yrs now, my only request is they are louder, my eart buds are little louder - this would be nice because of being on the mower so I can really hear the music!
