I'm free

This is a great and flexible way to use the 2nd Gen iPod Shuffle. My whole family now have the iFreePlay headphones and use them any time they are working out at the gym, shopping, and other activities when they don't want to carry other music players or mess with headphone wires.

disappointing - can't ajust the fit

(2 out of 5) by Daniel J. Sullivan on Jan 20, 2008 (Wellesley, MA United States)
I was looking for headphones to use at the gym without a cord, which tends to get tangled on things from time to time. I have generally been happy with Monster products in the past. The sound is OK - not great, but acceptable given the price. The big negative is that the the fit of the headphone is not-at-all adjustable. The rely just on the springiness of the plastic to keep them on your ears, so they feel like they are going to slip or fall off constantly. Might be OK on a stationary bike, but bad if you are in motion.

Just Right for My Needs

(4 out of 5) by D. Wilkinson on Sep 7, 2007 (Trent Woods, NC)
I'm glad I got the iFreePlay; I use it to listen to podcasts and audio books as I ride my recumbent bicycle. The sound is quite acceptable for this. As for the headphones falling down, they don't if you loop them over your ears as I expect they were designed to be worn.

A good solution for those of us not affording bluetooth and a salvation against swearing when the cords of other headphones/earbuds tangle. And you know they will!>)

Cheaper alternative

If you want to save yourself some money, just clip the ipod shuffle to a baseball cap and wrap the excess cord around the ipod. Bingo! You've got yourself a cordless ipod.

Simply Wonderful.

I have purchased a total of three so far. One for myself and two for gifts. I am constantly stopped and asked about the headphones each time I've worm them. Trust me, they are a great investment.
