noisy little bugger

I wanted a clock to keep track of power losses in our mountainous area. Simple, right? It ticks ! An electric clock with hands and it ticks like a wind up clock from back in the day.

Retro is Good

(4 out of 5) by Becky in Boerne on Feb 4, 2009 (Texas)
12 easy to read numbers, an alarm set by hand, no radio, no fancy controls, no batteries, all in a utilitarian white plastic case. Perfect.

Find another alarm clock...

(1 out of 5) by Sarah on Nov 17, 2009 (St. Paul, MN)
The first Chaney Instruments Verve II Electric Alarm Clock I received from Amazon wouldn't keep time, so I returned it. Amazon was wonderful and sent me a new alarm clock, but this one has bugs as well. It beeps every 10 minutes for no reason. I'm just going to try to find another no frills alarm clock...hopefully I'll find one that works!

Junk

(1 out of 5) by J. Peek on Aug 6, 2009 (Hayden, ID)
What a piece of junk. This is a nice little clock for the price if you don't mind that it loses a minute a day. Would suggest looking at a different one not a Chaney Instruments.

Just what I wanted

(5 out of 5) by Summercut on Aug 17, 2008 (LA)
This clock is just what I was looking for. My old analog electric gave out after 40 years and at first I couldn't find a replacement. All the digital clocks were too large for my wife's dressing table. This one fits just right and does not blink 12:00 after the lights go out. Its lited dial is an added plus at night.
