Worked for me. Don't blame the adapter. It's your video card that doesn't have the TV output capability. Read the item description!!!!

I was scared at first that this might not work with my laptop, since others have had a difficult time with it. But my only other option was to spend over $50. So I thought this would be a good try, and it was. The connection works with my laptop, but I did do a bit of research first to see if my laptop had TV out capabilities. You can get high definition quality with this cable but only in black and White. With color, the quality goes down a bit (still sharp, but colors flicker). You can't really tell the difference unless you are right in front of the TV. I don't regret buying this cable and it works for what I want to do (watch free hulu movies/shows on the big screen!)

I tried this with the Dell Studio S15. It does NOT work. If I figure out a way to get it to work, I will surely post it here.

I know that this cord will work if the graphics card support TV out. I believe my graphics card (nVidia 9600M GT) support TV out, but I am not able to configure properly. Can anyone help me out? Any links available to configure? Thanks

I plugged it in and I could see some Extremely distorted images. They were unreadable and unrecognizable. AfterWindows loaded, then there was just static.

I would leave zero stars if possible.
