Smart Strip
This product is easy to use and convenient. I no longer have to remember- or worse yet have my husband remember to turn off the entertainment center. It's automatic. I have not yet received my electric bill so I can't compare the savings. I am sure it's working though.
Smart strip
I recently bought three of these and have had some issues with them. I have a router attached to my desktop computer that allows the laptops in the house to be used. With the smart strip, I must turn on the desktop in order for any of the others to be usuable. Same thing with my living room, where I have the tv, wii and stereo all plugged in. The stereo will not turn on until I turn the tv on. I might be setting things up wrong...need to read the directions again.
Awesome!

I love how this strip powers off items that are connected with each other. Very convenient.

My Smart Strip
I wanted a protective power strip for my new LED TV. When I saw that the Smart Strip also provided an energy saving feature I knew that I wanted to have one for my application. I have not noticed any savings in power costs, however I only use this one and I haven't had it that long. Excellent product, well thought out design, and it works just as advertised.
Works as advertised! One limitation for me.
The Smart Strip SCG3 works exactly as advertised. I expect to save energy dollars. The one thing I did not think through and anticipate is that when I use this for my TV and surround sound it works great, but if I want to use my surround sound for a music CD or FM stations, then I need to have the TV turned on for that. Bummer! For the 85% of the time I use it for TV, it works great for me.
