worth every penny

I bought these about a month ago and have been using them routinely. I generally make about 3 round trip flights a month so I need good earbuds to wear on the plane and the airports. I chose the 11mm FMJ because of the great warranty and because other reviewers had mentioned that the sound quality was comparable to over the ear headphones.

After I received the FMJs, I noticed right away that the construction was top notch. The wires connecting the earbuds were thicker than usual and did not tangle. The sound quality lived up to my expectations as well. The sound rich and clear. The bass is loud. I recommend these highly.

These earbuds do not cancel out noise as much as I expected, although it does cancel most of it. I'm really not disappointed though because it seems to let in enough noise for me to hear my flight being called for boarding.

Rockin!

I am a bassist that demands PHAT bass from my music reproduction products.... that being said;
I found Skull Candy @ MacWorld this year and am very, VERY happy I did. I bought the new full metal jacket 11mm model. Make no mistake, These ear buds will rock world! Everything written about these buds in these reviews is true.

Before these earbuds I had just been using cheap 15 dollar pairs that break after a few months. Im never buying a cheap pair again. These earbuds put every other headphone and earbud I've tried to SHAME. They are comfortable, nearly completely noise canceling, loud as F**K, have an amazing amount of bass for their size, and make the music you're listening to sound at least 5x better than whatever you've been listening to it on. Buying these earbuds has truly given me a new appreciation for music. Besides all of the functional pluses, they look above awesome and have the most convenient cord volume adjuster I've seen to date. To sum this up, if you're not listening to music on these, you have no idea what you're missing.

i personally own the 9mm skulls and these are loud as hell!!!!! they are good enough to compete with one pricy ones these have a perfect balance of bass. I highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys listening to music undisturbed. You get these earbuds!!!
