Excellent!
Just recieved this item from Amazon. Product exceeded expectations. Hooked the reciever up within minutes and the sound quality is excellent. Very easy setup dispite mixed reviews. Great price on Amazon as well.

No USB Host! ! !
The Amazon Product Description clearly indicates the presence of a USB
Host on the front panel of this receiver. The product I received has none. This was a deal breaker for me. I did some research & as far as I can determine, the European model DOES have this feature but the U.S./Canada version does not. Also, the price has dropped twice in the week since my purchase but Amazon apparently will no longer price match themselves.

Frustratingly Difficult to Setup and Operate
Receiver needed to be hooked up to tv to set it up. Did that, but receiver remote needed a good two hours before it could be synchronized with tv to be able to choose setup menu options. It also needed a very long time before it could capture signal from cd and dvd player. This equipment is not user friendly and frustrating to operate. If it weren't a pain to return, it would have been on its way back to Amazon already. I'll give it a few more days to decide. I might just do that. It's just not worth it. I wonder if main reasons for steep discount from MSRP are customer complaints.
