Toss my jewel cases...

(5 out of 5) by StarLysandra Cole on Dec 5, 2008 (Oregon, USA)
... very first thing I do when I get a new CD, and with all my software DVDs. I've got several wire CD boxes from Staples that hold three rows of CDs and I can fit 3-4 times as many CDs when they are in these sleeves instead of the bulky plastic jewel boxes.

These are also so much easier to transport. I prefer to burn CDs of my favorite songs from iTunes, using Roxio's Toast, and keep those in our vehicles and for travel. I do have both an iPod and an iPhone, but I prefer CDs in the car. I'm less likely to leave either in the vehicle and if someone breaks in and steals my CDs... which has already happened three times in as many years... I don't lose original CDs, or my MP3 device.

I've used these almost as long as I've been purchasing CDs and as far as I'm concerned, is the only way to keep and store CDs... the ones I buy and the ones I burn. For original CDs I put the disc on one side and all the paper stuff from the plastic jewel case on the other side. For CDs I've burned, I print out a list of all the songs on that CD and store that on the opposite side of the sleeve.

We keep a small box in the middle console to hold a dozen or so burned CDs and change them out as we tire of a given selection. As for burning music CDs, I highly recommend Roxio products.

Great Sleeves

(5 out of 5) by Joe on Oct 30, 2008 (Egypt)
the sleeves are perfect, made of very good material, they help keep the cds and dvds dust free and the move from hand to hand, they also help save space
