Whistler XRT

Bought this for my husband for Christmas as his old one had died. Thought it would be a great unit, but when asking him, he had several complaints. Seems with our vehicle being cold when you get in, it takes awhile for the unit to "warm up" and turn on. When it goes off when passing something (radar, electronic doors, etc.), it takes a few minutes of it not working before the light comes back on (the "H" for highway, etc.). Not sure what causes this, but it's annoying, as, by then, we could have passed another police car with radar. We'll be contacting the company about this.

I guess

I don't know much about it, apparently it's working well though. I got it for my g/f's birthday, and she hasn't gotten pulled over yet. She tells me that it goes off every once in a while when cops are around, so it sounds like it's doing it's job.

Huge P.O.S.!

Huge P.O.S. unless you're trying to find Habib's Quickymart! Radar detector goes off near 7 Eleven's,etc and STAYS ON! In order to cancel alert you have to turn off the detector. Save your money, don't buy.

I loved my old whistler until it died so I bought this new Whistler XTR-330 and love it so much that I ordered 2 more. I like the blue LEDs they can catch your attention quick.
