good combination of features

(4 out of 5) by L. Grant on Jun 7, 2008 (Maine)
My daughter has been very happy with this portable CD/iPod player. It is easy to carry and the sound is sufficiently loud and of good quality. the iPod docking system is easy to use. The remote control is convenient for use from bed. The only complaint is with the radio reception. Although, there is a digital display of the radio station number, this boombox does not hold the signal well and the reception becomes fuzzy.

iPod player with remote

(3 out of 5) by KC on May 5, 2008 (Utah)
We bought this as a birthday present for our daughter. She has loved it. It came with a remote, which she uses all the time. I rated it as a 3 as the CD player doesn't work (disc spins, but no sound comes out even though input selection is set on CD), however I haven't bothered to replace it as she doesn't ever use the CD and doesn't want to be without it if I were to ship it back. The sound is good and she uses it daily-teenagers and their music... Price was better than others I found too.

Very pleased

(5 out of 5) by DjOHN on Sep 19, 2007 (Dallas)
I was very happy with this product given its low price. It has a very sleek look and the sound quality is very good. It is not powerful enough to fill a whole house with sound, but it is perfect for one room. The dock works great with my 30GB iPod Video.

Easy to use - sounds just fine for daughter's use

(5 out of 5) by Reader named Reeder on Sep 9, 2007 (Edmond, OK)
We bought this for our daughter's 13 birthday - it works just great for her use. She takes it outside and she and friends listen, dance, etc. She really likes it because they can bring their I-pod and plug them right in for a change of music collection. Easy to use, sounds fine, seems to be sturdy enough.

Poor radio reception

(2 out of 5) by J. Hoffman on Sep 10, 2009 (Washington DC)
Great idea for a product: CD player, ipod player and radio in one unit, but the sound quality isn't too great, the radio has poor reception, and my ipod doesn't charge in this unit. So, back it goes.

My old Logitech little portable speakers that I use with an ipod charger plugged into the wall has better sound and for less dough, Joe.

Probably a good unit for kids like some of the reviews say. If quality sound and charging are important to you, you might want to skip this.
