Panasonic SD worth the price

(5 out of 5) by Woodworker on Sep 18, 2009 (Stratford, CT)
I needed an extra SD memory card for my Nikon D80 for a trip to Europe. I looked at other less expensive cards, but other reviews seemed to point to the Panasonic for excellent reliability and speed. I shot hundreds of pictures in Europe and had not problems at all. Read time appeared to be very fast, although I did not shoot long, continuous streams of pictures. I think it was worth the few dollars extra for peace of mind.

Card works well.

This is the only card that I have used in my Panasonic Lumix camera, and it works fine. However, I have not had other cards like it, and do not have anything to compare it to. From my experience, I would recommend it.

Flawless card

(5 out of 5) by tela on Nov 7, 2008 (UT, USA)
This card is only one of a line of possibly the best SD cards on the market. These cards don't get as much attention because many times they are not sold in stores. I paid $50 for mine, but the prices have dropped a lot since then. They are very fast and very reliable. I've used other, slower brands, but once I got my first Panasonic card, it would be silly to pay a little bit less for a product that I am not sure I can count on. I have two of these, one 512mb that is years old and still works flawlessly in my old point and shoot, and this 4GB card, and I plan on buying an 8 or 16gb Panasonic card soon.

Highly recommended!
