Not the most inexpensive, but works very well

I bought this card for my SDHC-compatible digital camera and have found that it is really a lot faster -- especially when writing image files -- than conventional SD cards. It is also faster than class 2 or 4 cards. When buying SDHC cards it's really necessary to do some research and read the small print (especially with the Sandisk cards, which do a great job of confusing everyone), because in this case the speed is worth the price. Another plus is the 4Gb capacity. Even with a resolution of 8Mb, I haven't yet managed to fill this card to capacity in one go.

Works as advertised.

If you care about speed (why wouldn't you?), then you'll probably be getting SDHC Class 6 chips. But even among those there appears to be some variation. This particular Panasonic chip, and the Extreme III line from Sandisk, appear to be the best ones.

Just make sure your device (camera or whatever) is fully compatible.

(Start with something like Wikipedia if you want more technical info about SD & SDHC.)

Excellent speed at good price

(5 out of 5) by Shashank on Oct 11, 2007 (Boston, MA USA)
I replaced my Sandisk 2GB SD Ultra II, with this card. To my surprise, this card performed much better than my Sandisk. I copied a set of files (total 1GB) to both the cards and tried to copy back the same data to my computer. The Sandisk took 4min 32sec and the same data when copied from this card, took only 3min 10sec...thats 30% faster!
The write speeds were also exceptional. This card outperformed the Sandisk Ultra II card by about 25%.
Moreover, its cheaper than Sandisk Extreme III and offers the same speed.
Highly recommended...!

Flawless card

(5 out of 5) by tela on Nov 7, 2008 (UT, USA)
This card is only one of a line of possibly the best SD cards on the market. These cards don't get as much attention because many times they are not sold in stores. I paid $50 for mine, but the prices have dropped a lot since then. They are very fast and very reliable. I've used other, slower brands, but once I got my first Panasonic card, it would be silly to pay a little bit less for a product that I am not sure I can count on. I have two of these, one 512mb that is years old and still works flawlessly in my old point and shoot, and this 4GB card, and I plan on buying an 8 or 16gb Panasonic card soon.

Highly recommended!
