Picture is beautiful in High Definition although all I have is basic cable now and that picture is somewhat blurry because it's not in HD. It's okay though because I bought the TV for my Xbox 360 which looks sweet hooked up via HDMI in 1080i Resolution. I highly reccomend this TV if you are looking for a big TV at a great price with awesome picture quality.

(5 out of 5) by G. Moore on Jan 21, 2008 (Springfield, MO)Had this tv for over a year now, and its still just as it was new. Beautiful pic. You do need to adjust to your custom preferences to get the pic your want. Factory settings are a bit too much.
Turn down the brightness to 60. contrast to 85 to 90. and pick the pixel plus option to on. and dynamic contrast to maximum option, and you get a great picture. digtial video is not blurry. however digitized analog, like on some cable is still a bit off though, cause it was not filmed or taped in digital. all dvd's look great.
