iPod Comes Out Both Speakers Now!
(5 out of 5) by Maryboo on Feb 6, 2009 (Colorado)I was using a cheap male-to-male adapter cable to play my iPod thru my Sony mini-stereo. I noticed sound was only coming from one speaker & thought the other speaker was bad (the stereo is old).
I ordered this beefy cable for the 6ft length so I can play my iPod when driving our motorhome. When the cable arrived, I tried it on the portable mini-stereo and "voila!" My iPod plays thru BOTH speakers with this cable. I love it!

Just Beware

Just be aware that the cable is thick and therefore not easy to wind up and stow (in a small space). If you don't need the full 6 feet, get a shorter cable. As it turns out, 2 feet would have been good for me. With this 6 footer, I have 4 extra feet that I have to mess with.

Solid Performance

The audio performance is adequate, and much better than the cheap cable I'd been using. The cable is nicely shielded, and will allow good pass through. Another benefit to the shielding is that it makes the cable much stronger and less susceptible to accidental crimping. This is a nice solid cable, and if you like the color, it's an obvious choice.
