OTHERWISE YOU MAY PANIC WHEN IT DOES NOT POWER ON...LOL. CAN WE SAY HOW RELEIVED I WAS TO DISCOVER AND GET RID OF THAT PLASTIC! THIS SCALE IS VERY LIGHT AND CAN BE CARRIED ANYWHERE, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A CHECKBOOK IT IS PERFECT TO TAKE WITH YOU TO EVENTS, TRADE SHOWS OR EVEN TO A STORE TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE GETTING WHAT THEY TELL YOU. Not the most accurate but okay for the price...

2) Weighing a quarter gives a variance in ~.1 - .2 of a gram. So it's off a little bit and can be finicky...feels cheap.
