It works perfectly and the recordings are so clear, unlike other brands of voice recorders you can buy. I would recommend to anyone with a 1st Gen iPod Touch.

Works with ipod touch 1st generation

Brooks on May 28, 2009 (Venice Beach, California)I recommend getting the other ipod with a built in mic because of wires, trouble, and you have to babysit this item from getting knocked. Other than that it works and adds some extra features. If you want a phone out of your ipod touch 1st generation this works, I have one but it's a pain in the a** gadget to worry about if your an easy to use IPOD Lover. It's a great gadget to play with, and adds some extra ports.
