I had this product installed professionally and everything works just like i thought plus more. i ordered it from globazar and got it in 2 days. i can call anyone using the touch screen interface with blue touch. i went with sirius cause i like their channels better. but had it installed in a 2007 dodge magnum that didnt even come with a navigation system. THE GUYS AT STEREO ADVANTAGE HERE IN INDIANAPOLIS ROCK. I AM THE ONLY ONE IN INDIANAPOLIS SO FAR WITH IT SO IM LOVING it

Sound is awesome and the features rich. I can't understand all of the reviews complaining about the interface. I had it mastered right out of the box and my wife had it down in only a day or two. You can't go wrong with this one...Buy it.

The Kenwood DNX-7100 has a beutiful screen, great navigation feature and installed perfectly in my 2003 Ford Ranger with the addition of a aftermarket install kit (SCOSCHE FD1330B). It still required some trimming of the radio opening in the dash, but it fit solidly and looks great. Other reviewers have been very hard on the kenwood based on their opinion of the screen layout, and I was concerned about this before I bought mine, but now that I have over a week of use under my belt, I can say that the screens make perfect sense to me. You should not let the negative comments about the user interface disuade you from buying this unit. All in all, the sound/video is great, the USB interface automatically plays files on thumbdrives upon insertion, the navigation is a breeze to setup and use and also has some very nifty features. My next addition will be to install a backup camera and use the connect the truck's reverse signal to the radio's reverse input to automatically switch the video view when I put the truck into reverse.

Just recently got this item installed, but so far it's been amazing! So many features and capabilities. The installers hadn't even seen this model yet, and they were impressed by everything it can do. This unit has TONS of features, like I mentioned, so I would suggest to sit down after you install it and read the manual to take advantage of them all. The navigation is great too! You can listen to your music and have the navigation running at the same time. Great product...
