Work with my Shuffle 2nd Gen perfectly. It is nice doesn't have to turn on a computer to charge my IPOD.

Buyer Beware

Be very careful if you buy this. I wanted to be able to charge my Shuffle when I was traveling without a computer and I bought both this and the Bargaincell car charger. I plugged the Shuffle into the wall charger at the hotel after using it for quite a while on the plane. When I went to unplug it, the Shuffle was very hot to the touch and it would no longer work - the sound was low and distorted. I turned the Shuffle on and let the battery run down completely and then recharged it via the Apple-supplied computer charger and it still would not work. I think that the charger fried my Shuffle! :(

Handy and effective

Mine works perfectly. The charging time is the same as when using a computer, but I like the convenience of using an AC outlet.

Simple, but easy to use and works

For battery recharging it is easier than using the computer to recharge the Shuffle. Does the job, does it easily and well. Worth the while.
