Works Great

(5 out of 5) by S. J. Northrip on Sep 24, 2009 (Bedford TX)
Bought for Grand Kids. They recently went from Texas to Florida and the charger kept their DS Lites charged on the trip. This translated to a quieter and more peaceful trip. Kudos from their parents.

Not like Picture

The car charger I rec'd is very short(the cord is the curly kind) not the long one you see pictured. You cant even use from back seat. It is worthless!!!

Very Satisfied

(5 out of 5) by Nuknuk on Apr 2, 2009 (Springfield, VA United States)

We bought both the DS Lite version and another for an older DS. This one is for the DS Lite. It also looks cheap. But it works, and it costs a buck (price I paid at that time).

We used to plug an AC adapter to a voltage converter which has a noisy fan. Our converter is also bulky and also take too much space, plus the additional cables.

Now we do not need the converter anymore. We can leave this in the car and have the DS AC adapter at home.

Great for the Car

This DS car charger is a must when you have DS games for entertainment in the car!!!!

Item works, but cord is very short

(2 out of 5) by E. Fleck on Jun 30, 2008 (Aurora, CO)
This DS Car charger works well, but the cord is very short (nothing like the picture.) Our power outlet in the back seat is in the rear of the center console near the floor. My son must sit in the center seat to play his DS if the charger is plugged in (which means I have to move his booster seat over), and it still tends to disconect from the DS if he lifts his DS up too high. Like I said, it charges the DS, but not as conveniently as I'd hoped/assumed.
