The Nikon Action 8X40 is the Binos that I recommend to people. The Bak4 prisms are sharp and rarely used on binos at this price point. I have expensive binos that are great but people are surprised when I show them the view through these. Have bought as gifts for family members over the years. GF

I purchased for football games and general outdoor use. I have not used them yet, but looking through the lenses at trees in a distance I can't believe how clear the picture is. Much clearer than from my naked eye! These are so clear and crisp that it makes me feel that I should start wearing glasses so I could improve my site and vision. Finally got a pair of binoculars that we can see out of. Thought they might be too large, but tested a set out in store..knew what we were buying. Great purchase.

Absolutely fantastic, perfect for birdwatching and the price is right (I paid $50). Excellent quality, they feel good and solid.
