While certainly not the most amazing radio I have ever heard, it does its job well. I use this as my kitchen/ portable radio. I like that it has a cd player and a tape player. I can finally borrow books on tape from the library! If you are looking for a reasonably priced radio/ cd player/ tape player this is a good choice.

I was worried about ordering a CD player online and not being able to see/touch it in a store, but this one is great! Sturdy, not too heavy, and the kids can use it without my help. Recommended!

I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. The sound is great; strong and clear. I love the cobalt blue color and the compact shape. It's not too big, yet it sounds much bigger.
I was planning an upgrade on my stacked stereo system, which needs repair, and bought this to be able to play music while figuring that out. I like this boombox so much that I have put my upgrade on hold. I am using this in my kitchen and buying another one for upstairs.

Sound quality isn't that great and there's no tone control other than a bass booster button. Some CDs skip that play well on other players. Tuner isn't very sensitive, can't pull in stations that are less than very strong. OK for a child or "utility" listening. This unit smells like perfume - it took a few weeks for it to offgas - not for fragrance sensitive people.

I bought this for my father for Christmas so he can take on fishing trips etc. He loves it, a kid with a new toy. Works very well and very good sound for its size.
Amazon, the seller however was a different matter, they had dropped the price before my I bought it and refused to give me the lesser price. Claimed they DO NOT price guaranty any longer, despite that it was their own store and their price.
Long story short beware of Amazon and its shenanigans.
