Works perfectly for Blu-ray

High quality connectors with a grip that does not get too large to plug into tight spaces like audio/video switches. Many cables widen after the connector and make insertion into audio/video switch boxes difficult, this cable is not one of them. Very well designed.

Big improvement in picture quality

No Blu-rays
(5 out of 5) by Steven L. Humphreys on May 17, 2008This is a high quality cable that allows you to use the s-video connection on your TV. Be warned though, it won't let you listen to SACDs or Blu-ray disks. This is not the cable's fault but is due instead to paranoia induced copy-protection used on those formats which require an HDMI cable.
