Great TV

(4 out of 5) by Whitney Battestilli on Aug 15, 2007
Pros:
-Great Picture. Sharp and clear with nice colors. It even does a good job with 480i signals.
-Signal meter. Adjusting an antenna when watching a digital station can be difficult. This makes it easier.
-Pretty good sound.
-QAM tuner so you can dump the cable box.

Cons:
-No Guide feature. This is just plain stupid. Even the really cheap, off brand, LCD TVs have a guide feature.
-Remote is not great. Also it is really poor as a universal remote; it is very limited in what it can control.
-Lousy PC monitor. It can display 1024x768, 800x600, and 640zx480 and nothing else. It can't even display start up info when you first turn on the computer because that is in text mode. Worst of all, it can't do a 1366x768 display which is the native resolution of the screen and would be the best choice.

Overall, this is a great TV for the money. The picture is great, I can live with the rest.

You'll feel good about this one!

(5 out of 5) by T-Rev on Jul 19, 2007 (N.P.R. Florida)
Nice picture...pretty perfect really. Needed a third HD set for third bedroom. First of all, I have a samsung dlp downstairs and a sony lcd upstairs. I like TVs. Had bought a westinghouse and a vizio for the third room but ultimately returned both of them and purchased this TV. Thought I could get away with spending a little less. No. Wow, leaving the bargain TV basement really does make you feel better about life in general. The differences in the better, more expensive TV's are quite noticeable. The vizio is $600, this TV is about $775. For $175, what a difference. I play xbox and gears of war looked washed out and BLAH on the vizio. This TV rocks. The dark parts are dark enough and everything just really POPS on this TV. I would recommend this set for sure. Maybe better than my sony. Speakers are surprisingly good for an LCD set, again, the vizio was garbage. Styling is very cool, menus are pretty easy to navigate through. Settings on TV are serious, you can do stuff that I dont even know about yet. Setting out of the box are really quite good. Enjoy

great product

I love this TV. It looks great and was priced to be extremely competitive. I would definitely recommend it to someone else.

Excellent Value

(5 out of 5) by Brian on Oct 22, 2007 (Orlando, FL)
This TV is simply the best value for the money in 32" LCD HDTVs. It has 3 HDMI and 2 Component Video connections for a total of 5 HD sources. Most competitors only offer 3-4 HD connections. This TV accepts inputs of 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. The picture is fantastic whether watching standard def or high def. Games look great as well with no ghosting or any lag. We also have a Sony Bravia XBR and this TV looks as good or better for less money. I have already recommended this television to others. The menu system is easy to use. Built in digital tuner for HD over the air.

Cons: There is a delay turning the television on of 5 seconds or so, remote layout could be better, and tv is a little thicker than some of the others (a condiseration for hanging on the wall)
