Be careful w/ the time setting knobs.

(3 out of 5) by Steve D on Oct 20, 2009 (West Chester, PA)
When I bought this clock it worked just fine and functioned as it should. After about a month the left time setting knob no longer functions. I'm lucky I had it set to a good time (6:30am) so I can still use it as an alarm if I have to wake up at 6:30am. I cannot recommend this clock to another as the shoddy construction is unreliable.

Highly Recommend

Best alarm clock that I have ever owned and if this breaks, I would not hesitate to purchase this one again. The other reviews covered pretty much all there is to know on this, but like I said, the best I've used. Highly Recommend.

I love this clock radio!

(5 out of 5) by M. Peterson on Jun 18, 2009 (Wisconsin, United States)
I should have bought this years ago. I have 2 different wake-up times during the week, and have always altered my wake time every evening. This clock radio allows me to set the 2 wake up times, and choose each night which I will use. When I choose, it briefly shows me the time it will wake me up - no chance of mistakes!. And the best part is the alarm. You can set it to loud or soft. I chose soft, and it's a gentle chirping noise, that wakes me up but doesn't make me think the house is on fire. The radio? I've never tried it - not interested. My only "complaint" would be that the illumination (even at the higher setting) is hard for me to see during the day when I want tao glance at the clock (it's just fine when I'm in bed looking at it). And the price point is great!

Excellent clock, good alarm amazing FM and AM reception.

(5 out of 5) by Peter Hofer on Apr 15, 2009 (McCormick, SC)
This unit is small and does not take much space away from the night-table. The alarms (2) are easy to set and work reliably. The brightness is adjustable and we find the lowest setting just perfect for the night. Loudness of alarm is adequate. Finally the price is very low for such quality electronic device, which incidentally has a surprisingly good reception of AM and FM radio stations.
We would recommend this device to any-one without reservations.

Simply great!

(5 out of 5) by Pug Luver on Sep 20, 2008 (Gretna, LA)
I just got this clock in. It was very simple to set up...it would be easy to set up even if you didn't have the manual (single sheet of paper!). We have another alarm clock/CD/radio/sound machine combo. The settings were so complicated and difficult to remember that we just use it to tell time now. The best part? The knobs to change the alarm settings. Just turn the knob and hold to scroll the time. No more pressing buttons numerous times until your finger cries for relief. This is particularly helpful since my husband works swing shift and changes his setting twice a week. Recommendation: Buy it if you're looking for a basic alarm clock that is ridiculously easy to program.
