I bought this unit a couple weeks ago and it is superb. The sound is just incredible, although you need to program you spaekers for a better experience. I've not had a chance to go through the DVD capabilities of this unit, so I cannot comment on that. This is a unit that your neighboors will hate for..

I've been eyeing this system for about a year now. I was hezitent about this system because of its lack of a subwoofer. Now I know why a subwoofer isn't included...NO NEED FOR ONE! The LBT-ZX80D puts out solid deep bass if properly EQ'ed. I don't even have to use the V-Groove (high-bass) feature. But if someone wanted more bass there is a port in the back for one to be added. The surround is also solid. I haven't played around with the dvd funcion much yet, but so far it was good. The remote can be a little confusing, but over all this system is A+++. Highly recommend it.

i saw this one at best buy...alls i gotta say is wow
its godly...i turned the bass all the way up...the volume was on like 5 and it was good sound
so then i turned it up as loud as it went...my girlfriend...who was outside...could hear it...i think candy shop by 50 cent was on lol but just...wow
ive i had 630 bux at that moment and a ride home with it...id buy it...just wow
buy it if you have the money cuz this thing is crazy
