the remote was very easy to work. I didnt even have to program it to
my cable box.. Great picture great price.I love your product.I was a little concern about buying your tv, I was told you were a new
company I said what the heck so i bought 2 of them. Glad i did!!!!!

Fantastic TV

Mine is a 26" which is perfect for a 12 foot wide room. I could get it into my apt with help of a cart, unpacked it and set it up by myself. Easy. The built in DVD player is sensitive to dirty discs, so I clean each one first that comes from a rental.
Excellent value. Remote works great - takes a little study for the complicated stuff the TV can do. Have owned it over a year. 5 star.

TV works fine but the DVD is crap
(3 out of 5) by Aussiebat on Sep 21, 2008 (Denver, CO USA)Received my tv and it works just fine but the built in DVD is crap. You put in a movie and it freezes throughout the movie. We have had to resort to stopping and then restarting to view a complete movie no matter what the movie. I know it is just the DVD player because we can watch the same DVD on the smaller Zenith in the bedroom just fine. Other than that the TV itself works great...

Great bang for the buck

Initial HDTV-262 with dvd player
(2 out of 5) by George A. Roberts on Jan 19, 2009I search through Amazon for a good 26 in lcd tv and love the reviews for this Initial lcd tv. Unlike the last one one I purchase(32 in) I downsized and decided to go for a dvd combo. The TV was received in good shape and was easy to put together but hooking it up not only did a HDMI but a component hookup as well. the DVD player was good, the remote was fair but after a few days I could not turn the tv on. The red light was in standby mode. I change the remote batteries three time but when I push the on/off switch on the side of the tv it didnot turn it on. turn it off but not on. my daughter turned it on but when I tried to do it the set would not turn on. so I am sending it back today. I am waiting for a rma right now. I can't have a set that will not turn on by using the switch.
