Oy Vey!

(1 out of 5) by Scott I. Pollock on Mar 29, 2008
Why is it so freaking hard to find an mp3 player that actually sounds good? I mean, don't most of us use them primarily for music? This unit sounds okay, better than a number of others I've tried. Problem is, IT'S ALWAYS BREAKING DOWN!!! So, this is the second time I'm sending mine back, and I've only had it three months. It's been gone as much as I've had it! One day it's working and all is well, and the next it's malfunctioning. Heck, I don't even take the thing out of my house! Jeez!! Why can't anyone put together an mp3 player that sound great, and functions as well? Must be tough... I've had two, and this is what happens; you connect it to the computer in MTP mode (to transfer subscription music), and it won't move past the starting screen. It works fine in UMS. So, if you're going to be transfering files from Windows Media or something, you should be fine. This whole market; mp3 players, subscription music... great idea, but it's just not together yet. I wish I could get my little Sansa m-250 to hold subscription music more than one day, as it's been my favorite of about ten different ones!!! Best of luck...

Doesn't work to well

(2 out of 5) by P. Daddario on Jan 6, 2008 (Connecticut)
I love this product, the software and sound is excellent/ even teh video is great; however, one of the channels stopped working and it comes out mono. After almost no use at all.

Its a big disappointment that screams to me " why didn't I just buy an
ipod!"

NOT the aural equal of the Ipod

(3 out of 5) by KDS on Jan 10, 2008
Contrary to what is said here, the iaudio products DO NOT have the digital to analog/amplification quality that the Ipods have. I am a sound engineer with golden ears, and I am very critical of quality. I was not impressed with the circuitry of the Cowon products. The Ipods are still the finest I have ever heard. Stick with apple, and use a proper music format for the finest quality.
