Yes, this is the QuadGT

Hard to tell from "965 Chipset LGA775 MAX-8GB DDR2 PCIE16 IEEE1394 FSB1066", but this is the new Universal-abit QuadGT that was recently (Jan 2007) introduced. I was a bit skeptical about buying a motherboard that was so new (there's still only a few reviews out on it, anandtech's being the most well known). But wow am I glad I did.

Some people (including anandtech) have reported problems with the original bios version shipped with the board. But I have to say, I haven't had a single problem (despite the fact that I have an IDE CD/DVD drive and SATA hard drives). The board was a joy to work with -- the layout is perfect -- and it booted and loaded the OS from DVD the first time through (after clearing CMOS first, as instructed).

The only negative about this board is the price, but you get what you pay for. It's solid, stable, and looks good, too! It may sound like I work for abit, or I'm an abit fanboy. But I don't, and I'm not (this is the first abit product I've ever bought).
