arrived quickly, simple instructions, easy installation and runs quietly. It's been in for a couple months now - no problems. Replaced the unit that comes with the Dell 4600 that was known to be an issue. Had already replaced it once through Dell but the second one failed as well.

This power supply was installed into a Dell Dimension 4550 without difficulty. I did it myself in 6 minutes and it was an exact fit. It even had extra power cords for my graphics card. I would recomend this power supply for Dell owners that have computers that it is compatible for, because there was no need to do any cutting on the tower to make it fit. It is also very quiet.
(5 out of 5)Quiet, Plug-n-Play Replacement for Dell 8200
The PC Power and Cooling S41D2 was the SECOND replacement power supply purchased for my Dell 8200. The original Dell P/S died after 8 years of good service. My first replacement, a Shark ATX 300, was a less expensive but "adequate" P/S off eBay. Unfortunately, it required significant mods (remove fan screen, replace power switch round head screws with flat head screws, lengthen power cables to reach ALL drives) to make it work. The Shark also was much lighter (no heat sinks) and generated MUCH more noise than the original Dell P/S. Not trusting the Shark ATX, I decided to purchase the PC Power and Cooling S41D2.
The PC Power and Cooling S41D2 was truly a "Plug-n-Play" EXACT replacement for the original Dell P/S. I simply removed the recently purchased (and modified) Shark P/S and dropped in the PC Power and Cooling S41D2. The replacement took less than 15 minutes. The new P/S was so quiet, I had to look through the exhaust vent with a flashlight to confirm the fan was running. And, the PC Power and Cooling S41D2 offered a 5 year warranty. Good "peace of mind" for a critical PC.

Replaced dead power supply in a Dell Dimension 2400 with an S41D2 Silencer 410W Dell-2. Fits perfectly. Has all the same connectors as the original, plus more. Even includes connections for SATA drives, which the original power supply didn't. Is one of the quietest power supplies I've ever used. Came with its own power cord and mounting screws.

the power supply fit perfect in my dimension 4600 seris, could have a little better instructions on where to plug what though :D other than that GREAT power supply, works well with my new video card.
