Suitable for its headset 510

(5 out of 5) by Bat-Orgil Batjargal on Jun 2, 2008 (Laie, HI, USA)
I have bought and returned ANYCOME bluetooth USB Adapter due to its failure to connect to my Plantronics USB 510 headset. Even though there were a lots of good comment on ANYCOME bluetooth USB adapter, I found it personally to be near impossible to connect it to my plantronics headset. Finally I bought this adapter which is the same brand as my headset, and it worked so easily native.

Love it

Bluetooth Headset as USB Audio

(5 out of 5) by IT Mike on Feb 13, 2009 (Atlanta, USA)
Great Product was testing around with standard Bluetooth Adapters all did not work as they should with Headsets. Especially not with Vista64.
If you like to talk with a Bluetooth Headset on your Windows PC that is the perfect USB Adapter, Just plug it in no additional drivers.
And if you use the additional software (just a plug-in no driver) you can even accept incoming calls with the button of your headset.
I tested it with Cisco IP-Communicator and Skype and worked perfect.
If you need Audio only, then it is perfect even with Vista64. But keep in mind you can not use any other Bluetooth services with it.

Great sound and connection

(5 out of 5) by H. Nielsen on May 8, 2009 (Chicago, IL, USA)
I bought Plantronics Voyager 510 some months ago and on the side a bluetooth stick for $10 and must say I had some problems talking and connecting to my family in Europe, via Skype. I therefore decided to visit Plantronics homepage and found out that they had a BUA-100 supporting my headset, and yes it did and still does. The sound is now very clear and they just fit like a hand in a glove.
Its a bit prizy, but found a good deal for under $50 via Amazon - great product.

works great with Voyager 510

(5 out of 5) by S. B. Johnson on Dec 6, 2009 (Winslow, AR USA)
I have a Voyager 510 which I have used with my cellphone for quite a long time. I wanted to use it with my landline phone via a computer, but wasn't able to do it until I got this bluetooth adapter. It was pretty much plug and go. Pairing the headset with the usb adapter was painless ( if you buy the headset and adapter as a kit, I think they have already been paired ). The software I am using is CallSoft Pro - it has a speaker phone setting, and that worked great with this adapter. Based on other reviews, I didn't try any other bluetooth USB adapters. I also haven't tried this adapter with any devices other than the Voyager 510; but it is advertised by Plantronics as having been developed for the Voyager 510, and it does that with flying colors. I am using it on a computer with Win XP Pro ( SP3 ), so I can't guarantee that it will work OK with Vista or Windows 7. Though I can't find it "in writing", I'm about 99% sure that this a USB 1 adapter. If you want USB 2, look at the Plantronics Voyager Pro UC system.

Better than built-in bluetooth

(5 out of 5) by George Canasta on Nov 29, 2009 (Louisiana, USA)
I have been using this item for some time now. I purchased this item with the intent of using a Skype softphone with my laptops when I was traveling for work and leisure. I had attempted to pair my plantronics headsets with the internal Bluetooth adapter on the laptop, however, I found the connection to be unreliable. After pairing my headset with this device, I had no issues with clarity or connectivity. Also, the downloadable PersonoCall software, completed the functionality I was looking for by adding answer and end functioanlity to the headset. I paired this device with a Voyager 520, and the functionality is seemless. I would recommend this product to any user. I even purchased a second set for my gilfriend to use with video conferencing.
