Infinity Model: REF9623I car speakers
(5 out of 5) by hankzappa on Apr 22, 2008 (texas)I've had Infinity towers for the house since 1994 so I didn't hesitate to buy these for my 2007 Accord. So far they sound great running off the factory deck for the last four days. I'll lay into them this weekend to see if I need to add a sub-woofer or new deck. I don't believe either will be needed.

best speakers for the money
(5 out of 5) by T. Robbins on Apr 14, 2008I have been a fan of Infinity for years, these speakers were added to my 4-Runner which had 4 Polk speakers already installed. The speakers were only 4 inch since that was all that fits the enclosures. I added these for bass and full range as I had virtually none. I paired it with an Infinity 7541 amp and WOW, I mounted these in an enclosure box so I could use them for tailgating etc.. these speakers are for Audiophiles on a beer budget. Buy Them!

Amazing
(5 out of 5) by B. Webster on Mar 26, 2008Very clear sound, and deep punchy bass. It makes my mp3s sound like low-fi junk, which is a really good thing. The bass isn't overwhelming or distorted, its what good speakers should sound like! Easily the best buy for the money! AND I didn't have to build a new housing to make them fit right! That's always a plus.

Replaced oem Infinity speakers (cheap paper cones) and the sound is very clear and very loud. Could not produce distortion at high volumes (but I'm not a teenager anymore). I don't think you can find a better speaker in this price range.

(5 out of 5) by gtoman3x2 on Aug 22, 2009 (Chicago)I absoloutely love these 6x9's They fit perfectly in my '72 Chevelle rear deck and I used the plain black "old school" stamped metal grilles instead to hide what I got and make everything look stock. You already know the Infinity Reference series sound is incredibly accurate -- but I was amazed at the efficiency of 2.65 Ohms! I am running an old stock Pioneer AM/FM/Casette from the 70's without an amp and it sounds louder and cleaner even with the windows down while cruising down the highway. Ordered 2 more sets for my other cars...
