Great Product

One of those rare products that FAR exceed expectations. Been trying to find a decent pair of 2.5mm headphones/buds since I got by Blackberry Pearl. Have purchased and returned 3 sets so far. This thing is perfect. Cables are thick and don't have the cheap feel of most 2.5mm. Switch works flawlessly. Music automatically paused when a call comes through and restarts when call is disconnected. No degradation in sound when listening to my Bang & Olufsen phones. And as a bonus, this adapter has a volume control. I had no idea. GREAT GREAT product.

Super headset for MP3 capable phone

I got this adapter with microphone to replace my bluetooth headset which had poor audio (people always complained they couldn't hear me) and didn't work well for playing audio with my mp3 capable phone. My new Blackberry Pearl came stock with a headset, but the earbuds were too large and hurt my ears. This adpater allows me to use any headphones, and I never get complaints about audio quality when using the phone now. The first headphones I tried were Sony earbuds, but the volume was inadequate when riding the train, so I switched to Phillips noise cancelling set that seems to work much better with the adapter (it uses an AAA battery to boost power and cancel noise). I've also tried using the adapter with one of the audio cassette car adapters while driving. I was surprised that this inexpensive adapter had no feedback "squealing" and my wife heard me perfectly in this speakerphone configuration. For my phone, the button works as a mute during calls or a pause button when listening to audio, preventing me from having to dig into my pocket to use the phone. Best $10 I've spent in a long time.

Works great

Its not the best looking adapter but it works great on the Blackberry 8800. The sound is fine and as mentioned above the music hold and volume control work great.

Works with Blackberry 8800

Works great with my blackberry 8800. Went through two adaptors from a different company and both quit working after only a few weeks of use. This one has been working for over a month with no problems whatsover.

Unique product, average quality.

I use mine as a vehicle iPod-like dock for my cellphone. The cord is a bit short for my use (I think its less than the 40" specified), it limits the volume a bit, but you can not find this anywhere else. The sound quality is excellent, and the tiny plug has taken quite a bit of abuse without visable damage.

The microphone is not great, with low volume and average to low sensitivity.
